Gifts

Giving gifts is a kindness that has gone out of fashion. I remembered growing up and being invited to things or events, when my mom would always say bring a thank you gift. They are thoughtful and really mean a lot to the people who revieve them. My stepfather loves my work and supports me. It amazes me how much he believes in my gift or talent of writing. If I had one supporter, it would be him. Always rooting for me to grow, expand, and try new things. Not just in my writing, but in life as well. These are qualities I appreciate. That is why I presented him with copies of my latest work. He reads them in minutes. He than re reads them so he can give me constructive feedback. This is a gift I am thankful for. Gifts can not only be for the reviever, but the givers benefit. Just something to consider.
