Empowering and Dating

Sitting and watching Charmed reruns. Fun and witty, but also empowering. Women have been placed in a less than perspective by society. I like the concept that women can lift themselves up. This isn't a hard topic for me. My mother is independent and hard-working, so it makes sense that I am all for women empowerment. This is why dating has always been complicated for me. Dating both men and women is hard. I am hopeful, but realistic-optimistic. I have hope, but not putting all my hope in one person. Happiness is within. It is a internal journey that I have finally arrived towards. I have my blog, travels, writing, and overall pleased with how my life is going. A partner would be nice, yet not necessary to be complete or happy. This is a concept my therapist would like and find healthy. Stay safe. Be bold. Do what makes you uncomfortable. It could have amazing consequences.
