The Heart of Inspiration

Excalibur is the stuff of legends. If asked what inspired me to write, I can easily isolate it to broken heart as a teenager. However, my love for reading and fantasy goes back years. I remember this movie so clearly and the only Arthur version that I love without fail. Why? A wizard covered in my favorite color - gray. Merlin was Arthur's advisor.  This is the part I forgot sometimes. I love the dragon, tale, and legacy that is Arthur. It inspired me to this day. I just rewarded myself by re-watching the movie. It was still as I remember,  LEGENDARY.  I am glad that fantasy is my genre of choice. My skills grow and still I can return to what gave me ideas. Magic like LOVE is at the root of all good stories. We can't see either, but love and magic surround us daily. Miracles are a form of magic. Hope is the heart of magic. My imagination has grown widely and still I write. Now let hope in and redistribute it to the world. Tell stories that can be passed down generations.
