The original blog has been lost between saving work on my phone and also working on my laptop. I don't recall what my point was, but here is a stab in the dark. One must love them-self in order to love others. Sounds simple enough. Wisdom usually is. I have had my ups and downs about my insecurities. One must not compare themselves to others is a great place to start and the vice we all seem to have. I have gone up and down in my weight loss journey. In the end, the part I love most about MYSELF is my compassion to love, care, and help others. This shines through no matter how I view myself. The shocking part is when you are doing good, people flock towards you. What we see as a flaw could be the one trait someone else loves about US. Read that part again. I hear it all the time. "I wish I was taller," and the person they end up with LOVES their height. What we see in mirror isn't all of who we are. We are seeing the flaws, imperfections, and bad memories. Someone tells you -you look good, you brush it off. If six people say you look great or like a picture since social media is so prominent in our lives. I bet you are going to remember the seven saying "Not so great, you could afford to lose a pound, or something else NOT SO HELPFUL or KIND". Why do we do this to ourselves? It is human nature at its worse. All the psychology classes in the world can't magically make me forget a bad comment, look, or feeling another has attached to me. This is why self-love, self-esteem, and self-worth which all have difference purposes are important. The key aspect is self, which entails how we see ourselves. Remember this. Love the flaws because you could be inspiring yourself, others, or attracting the ONE. Be kind to each other. Stay safe. Best of luck and tons of love.
