High School Wars:
It was May 14, 2006 when Diana Townsend was on her way home from prom at the Renaissance Hotel from Dashmeore High School in New Port. Diana doesn’t have a boyfriend so she went to prom with her bestfriends Lucas Sharsenman, Jane Arronheart, and her twin Nancy. Diana would have loved to go with Raishmel Brooks, captain of the basketball team and an academic God. He gets straight A’s and is in all the clubs worth mentioning. Diana was in love, yet he dates Sabrina Prince-the wicked witch of high school that won prom queen and guess who was next to her, yeap Raishmel.
Sabrina isn’t mean or anything, yet she doesn’t exactly go out of her way to be nice to me, or my friends, yet once she tried to get with Lucas-the tall, handsome, athletic hunk of a guy that would make any woman happy, but he is taken by Brenda Peslin. Brenda had to work the night of prom, and she isn’t exactly Miss. Teen Spirit. Brenda is great and lots of wonderful on top, yet we always thought Lucas wanted that whole Britney Spears package, but we had him totally backwards with high school boys.
Lucas likes the strong, quiet, sensitive type, yet Brenda is loud and in charge, and don’t expect her to keep quiet if she has an opinion. She really is great, she help me on a geography test, and many other tests that I’m not such a genius in-Math and Science, god do I hate those subjects. Oh yeah, back to my point-Brenda and Lucas are good together that’s why it has been four months and eight days in six minutes. Well on to Nancy and Jane, my best gal pals-the twins that are night and day. One likes school, while the other would rather be using sexuality to get some hot guy.
Nancy and Jane are great, yet I am left on my own. Jane is totally bestfriends with Raishmel when it comes to school, while Nancy has some hot guy. Then Lucas is with Brenda, and leaving poor Diana to her lonely self, even thou the others always include me in their plans and never make me feel like the third wheel, or whatever number of people we are with on a given night. Wait, hold on a minute-I’m not a total loser and my life isn’t so bad. On to the good stuff, I am going to Yale University in the fall on a full scholarship and don’t have to pay for a thing, but expensive gas.
I got a brand new Excursion for my eight-teen birthday and I had a puppy named Sammy to die for into he was hit by a bus, now I have Lolo-a beautiful cat. And I got a new power during the spring break; I can now make psiknetic-shields with my mind. I forgot to mention I am a meta-human, a unique individual with special abilities or powers if you are a sci-fi nerd. I can foresee the future and the past plus read minds, control people only if in a dangerous situation. Well, once to get out of gym in ninth grade, well it was that time of the month and I had to climb a rope, do a thousand pushups and some other junk.
I forgot to mention I sometimes like to over exaggerate when telling stories. I am Diana a future doctor, lawyer, writer, and business entrepreneur. I write for fun, even thou they are pretty good what a waste of talent that my grandpa Joe wants me to be a doctor, while mom wants a lawyer to get her out of jail for killing my father. My dad is divorcing my mom after six years off separation, and he wants his little pumpkin to be a business tyrant. My family is a bit strange, yet I love them with all my hear, as do I my bestfriends, and am going to miss them all when I go away to college.
Brenda and Jane keep saying they are going to visit all the time, but I won’t hold my breath. Oh yeah I forgot to mention, I can also burn anything with my pyrotelekinesis and I can make things happen with my magic dust. Jane can steal my powers with a single touch; well Nancy can copy my abilities with a look or touch. Lucas can cast spells, which is wicked cool and materialize out of thin air. Brenda can control minds, snatch up body for a different kind of control trip, and open portals.
Raishmel once stopped time to save an old man from a fire, made him tranquil so he wouldn’t have a stroke or something, then put out fire with that sonic-echo thing he does. Sabrina the Raishmel follower can walk threw walls and other things that few have seen her use her abilities, at my school there are a few students with powers like us, but I don’t know them that well so why mention them.
Nancy came over to me at the after prom and told me that Raishmel has a crush on me, and wants to go out tonight which I still can’t believe, but I hope that it is true but I won’t let him on to that into never, that would-be embarrassing. Nancy turned out to copy Brenda’s powers and got the 411, and then Lucas went over there to double check that her information was correct, which it totally was and I am going out with my dream guy tonight to the beach for dinner and a movie, so Sabrina is going to eat her heart out.
That night I dressed as usual so not to give off a different impression of who I am, when I saw that I was a total babe and he was mine and I knew it, so that vision help me feel a 100% better. Sabrina and Brenda came bye after the date to hear about it, since I was at school working on a paper on economics that is due on Monday-what a boring way to end a date. Brenda was all-supportive while Sabrina was sitting there ready to kill me for taking the one guy that I was actually bagged with a smile.
Sabrina was listening when I saw a strange light buzzing around her and then it entered her body, it was a spirit, like the ones you read about in the comics or see in the movies. It was real and it took control of Sabrina because the next moment when I was describing the way he touched my neck when he leaned in for another kiss she shot pharynblasts at me. I made a shield just in time, as Brenda was hit with a fireball, which isn’t one of Sabrina’s powers so I know she was posse.
It was Raishmel that saved us for that spirit that took over her body; he hit her with tranquil blasts that made her laugh about being ticklish. He then turned invisible and hit her with a sonic-echo to the head as he psychically told me to use Brenda’s powers to get that spirit out of her and it worked, I was channeling her powers as I beat the possessed Sabrina’s ass. I got another date with Raishmel and we have being seeing each other the entire summer, while a bitter Sabrina is now close friends with her old enemy Lucas. I went to school at Yale, and guess where Raishmel is going. Yeap Yale and we are totally in love.
