The Next Generation

I met Michael Miguel through a mutual friend in New York and during a hurricane. That is another blog, but rest assured he is humble, kind, and talented. The man also loves fitness. It helps him focus on his art and creativity. Being a Person of Color dominated in a world of being told we are not center stage is fast changing. We are taking the narrative and making it our own. He is a man who will have you dancing to the beat of his music. A smile that will easily welcome you. I am fortunate enough to see up-in-coming artists who are focused on their communities. This is what Michael Miguel is all about. He is going to do what Pitbull did for rap, reinvent what we think we know. Taking pop and making it his own, while staying true to his roots. This is a gift and what will make him shine. His originality and authenticity. I am proud to have got a photo and autograph.
