What is a friend?

Such a strange question with strong feelings. It is a person who is fiercely loyal and will always be there without you having to ask. Someone who puts others needs before their own. The best friends usually are parents, or animal lovers. Adopted animal parents count too. They can't help but be there for you. Each is your own unique superhero or vilain. The person who pulls you from the fire or adds kindling to the flame. They are all in by every means associated with the term. I am very lucky about who is in my inter-circle. Or, maybe I just chose wisely who to let in and stay in. To help and build me up. I want to be the best, so I only surround myself with the best.
