Here I am after struggling with my new job as a door to door solar consultant for Sunrun. My first week was rough to say the least. I thrive with structure and having tons of knowledge to drop at the tip of a hat.
This does not mean one can not be successive without knowing a ton. Ryan, one of my mentors, mentioned something that rang true for me and probablycan connect with a lot of folks. We stand in our own way by second guessing and overthrowing. I know at least I do, so I am able to see things now with clarity.
Be thankful for struggles and failures. Or turn that mirror upside down to see that roadblocks can inspire. I thrive and smile when I reflect on how far I came in just a few weeks. More importantly, happy to see what this path brings. I have met a ton of incredible people just in the work space and having conversations all day in truly inspiring for me.
We can understand how others see us by their responses. This level of self awareness can be useful for one's progress and a HUGE confidence builder. 👏
